The Lemara Eco Camp, which was designed for the conscious traveler seeking proximity with wildlife, comfort and excellent value-for-money, is a charming lodge that respects both nature and locals. Let us bring you on a safari in one of the very last unspoilt places in the world.
The forest neighbouring the Lemara Eco Camp is home to elephants, leopards, baboons, antelopes, warthogs and many other animals and plants. With only three bandas, set appart from each other, the lodge offers privacy to let you enjoy a genuine experience of the bush. The bandas are built with local material to stay naturally fresh. Solar-powered fans are also here to assist nature on very hot days. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each one of them benefits from a terrace opening on the wild. Sit back and enjoy life from the bush. Dinners are served in a different location every night, under a glittering canopy of stars.
Breakfast, lunch, apéro and dinner are served at the lodge. On a safari day, you can choose to take a breakfast box and/or lunch box to maximize your time while exploring the vast wilderness of the Nyerere National Park. All meals are homecooked with love by our chef using local ingredients to support small farmers and pastoralists.

The very best time for rewarding game-viewings are the cooler early morning and late afternoon where the animals are the most active. For this reason, we recommend an early departure from the lodge. Depending on the seasons, the schedule might be adjusted but always with the goal to make you enjoy the most of your safari day.
05:30–06:00 Wake-up call with hot tea & coffee
06:30–07:00 Following breakfast, depart for a morning game drive or walk, or take a picnic breakfast with you and leave slightly earlier
12:30 Enjoy your lunch after a morning of game viewing. Relax and resume your safari day.
16:00 Afternoon break
18:30 Back to Lemara Ecolodge
19:30 Drinks at the bar followed by dinner under the stars
